Good morning!
Launch week is almost behind us. Here’s where things stand.
Readers are writing meaningful, thoughtful reviews.
“An essential piece of the American story.”
*
“Part memoir, part history lesson, part love letter.”
*
“Lingers well after the final page.”
*
“Stays with you not because it resolves its tensions, but because it makes clear they were never meant to be — only carried.”

I didn’t see any of this coming when I sat down to write over eight years ago.
One thing left — the ebook is $0.99 through this weekend. After that, the price goes up. If you’ve been waiting, now is the time.
And if you’ve already read it — a review is the single most powerful thing you can do for this book. Two sentences is enough. Every review helps new readers find it.
